Caprese Salad Christmas Wreath

minutesWho doesn’t love a classic caprese salad? It’s all of my favorite flavors combined in one! This caprese salad Christmas wreath is the perfect festive spin on a shareable caprese appetizer! Same flavor, just easy to pass around and share. Don’t skip out on the balsamic glaze – it adds the perfect sweet flavor to each bite!
Ingredients
2-3 containers cherry tomatoes
3 containers small fresh mozzarella balls
4 cups fresh basil leaves or spinach
medium sized wooden skewers
salt & pepper
oregano
Directions
- Start by creating your wreath bed of basil or spinach leaves. Create a wreath size however small or big you would like, depending on your round dish size.
- Make your caprese kabobs. Alternate between tomato and mozzarella until the skewer is full!
- Arrange your kabobs on the wreath bed in a circular shape.
- Season with salt, pepper & oregano.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze right before serving. Enjoy!
