Getting all dressed up – whether it’s for date night or a special occasion or event…can be so fun! Only when you do it once in a while though…it’s a lot of work, ha! I’m pretty loyal to my beauty favorites & must-haves, but I do pull out a few special things out of my beauty-bag-of-tricks when it comes to getting fancied up for a date night or special occasion. Individual False Lashes // After you try these, you will never use strip lashes again! Years ago, one of my beauty-guru friends showed me how easy it actually is to apply individual false lashes. What I love most about them is how much more real and natural they look as opposed to strip lashes! You can really customize the look you want to achieve, too. I love using this glue to apply them – it’s hypoallergenic glue so it’s great if you have sensitive eyes or wear contacts like I do!
Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation // The foundation I’ve been wearing for years! I use this on shoot days, date night, special occasions- or any other time I want a little bit more of a “filtered” smooth, full-coverage look. It truly makes your complexion look flawless without being too heavy or appearing cakey. I wear color #3N2 – wheat.
Brazilian Bum Bum Body Lotion // The *best* smelling lotion ever! It’s also the most hydration locking lotion, too. You seriously won’t even need to wear perfume while wearing this, it’s that good!
Glow Body Oil // I love to use this in combination with the Bum Bum Cream lotion during the summer, or whenever I am wanting a little bit of an extra glow. It gives your body a very subtle, gold shimmer that is so pretty! I love applying this on my legs, arms & collarbone area.
Tan Luxe The Face Self-Tanning Drops // The only way I’ll self-tan my face! I love that you can throw a few drops of this in with your usual daily moisturizer, and a few hours later you have a healthy, golden glow. I’ve never had any issues with breakouts, either!
Living Proof Dry Volume Blast // The *best* way to get volume, and keep volume in your hair! And, it seriously smells like perfume…but for your hair I love this stuff & always have a mini-size in my purse for special occasions.
Tan Luxe Hydrating Self-Tanning Mousse // My current favorite self tanner to use the night before a special occasion. It’s easy to apply, natural looking, and goes on super smooth!
Loving Tan Velvet Self-Tanning Applicator Mitt // No matter what self tanner you use, don’t ever use an application mitt OTHER than this one! It’s truly game-changing and there’s no mitt out there like it that I’ve found. It’s made of what feels like velvet, which helps apply the most smooth, even self-tan ever. No more streaks!
No. 04 Bois de Balincourt Perfume // I’ve been switching up my perfume for the first time in almost a decade! I stole this scent from a friend because she always smells soooo good. It’s fresh, not too girly or not too masculine, and I love that it is compact & roller-style for easy application.
T3 1.25″ Curing Iron // My go-to curling iron for the perfect curls or beach waves!
Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector Mask // Sometimes if my hair needs a refresh or extra shine, I’ll apply this conditioning treatment by Olaplex to my hair prior to showering. It leaves your hair silky smooth!
Bad Gal Bang Volumizing Mascara // My OG jet black, volumizing mascara! The brush is super bendy and flexible make it very easy to coat each individual lash.
