Nick & I discovered this internet craze pizza dough recipe a couple of years ago, and we’ve been loving it ever since! Every time I make this pizza dough, I am still shook at how well it works & how amazing it tastes. Whoever figured this magic combination out is a genius! The two secret ingredients = self-rising flour (*MUST BE SELF RISING) & plain greek yogurt! It’s as simple as that. No more waiting for dough to rise, or store brought crusts that are filled with unnecessary ingredients. Make this for your next pizza night and you’ll be amazing! Bon appetit! xo
Ingredients
2 cups plain greek yogurt
2 cups self-rising flour
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine greek yogurt & self rising flour. Using hands, continue to work the two ingredients together until it forms a dough ball. At first, it may seem like it can’t happen – but trust me, keep kneading and flipping the dough & it will happen! If somehow the dough is not forming into a ball, feel free to add small amounts of water until you get the right consistency.
- If you have time, refrigerate dough for 10-15 minutes.
- Roll or press out on a greased pizza pan. Bake at 400 for 12-15 minutes, or until rise & a light golden brown.
- Take out, let cool, top it with your favorite toppings & place back in the oven until cheese is melted! Enjoy! xo
