Waffle-Style Chocolate Chip Cookies

(your answer has to be no because that’s impossible) – & second question: do you know someone who doesn’t like chocolate chip cookies? (another no because….C’MON!) – EXACTLY. And we all know that everything tastes better in a waffle-form (waffle fries, duh) – so combining cookies + waffles seemed like a no-brainer. Talk about the ultimate dream team!
There are so many reasons why this recipe rocks! One, because they taste amazing. Two, because it’s too easy, and three: hello convenience & less baking time! If only we could use a waffle maker for all of the things. Give these yummy, adorable waffle-style chocolate cookies a try next time around, and I promise you won’t regret it!
Ingredients
2 & 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 stick unsalted butter
1 large egg
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup chocolate chips
Directions
- Combine butter (room temp!), brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla and the egg in a large mixing bowl & beat together until fluffy.
- Add in flour, salt and baking soda. Beat until fun combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips & place dough in fridge until ready to bake.
- Preheat waffle iron on a medium heat. Spray with non-stick cooking spray.
- Scoop dough into about 1+1/2 TB size balls. Place on waffle iron, close lid & cook for about 2 minutes or until golden brown.
- Carefully remove cookies from waffle iron and place on cooling rack.
- Top with powdered sugar for extra sweetness! Don’t forget the milk!
