Yep, I’m that dog mom! There is nothing wrong with a lot of store bought treats – but once in a while, I love to treat Ryder & Remi with some homemade, healthy treats! I love that I know exactly what is in them. Pumpkin is super beneficial for pups & their digestive system. Our dogs absolutely love these & I will full admit I probably let them have too many in one day. But hey, their healthy!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree

  • 1/2 cup natural nut butter (I use cashew butter!)

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Spray a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
  • In a mixing bowl, mix all of the wet ingredients together. (pumpkin, eggs & nut butter)
  • Add in flour, salt & cinnamon. Stir until fully combined.
  • Refrigerate dough for 10 minutes.
  • Flour a flat surface & roll out dough so it’s about a 1/3 inch thick. Use flour as needed to keep the dough from getting sticky.
  • Using a cookie cutter, cut out dog bone shapes and place on prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 25 minutes, remove & let cool!
