You guys know that I love starting my day with a smoothie! For me, it’s the best way to get a ton of nutrients & protein into my body first thing. I’ve found that it’s given me more energy, keeps me feeling full longer, keeps my bloating now, my digestion regular & it tastes amazing. Lately, especially with this pregnancy – I’ve been switching up my morning smoothie to make it a little bit more hearty. Adding oats & honey has added such an amazing flavor and texture, along with a healthy carb source that helps fuel my body in growing this sweet baby girl! Give this one a shot & let me know what you think!

Ingredients

  • 1 fresh or frozen banana

  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

  • 1/2 cup milk or milk substitute

  • 2 tsp. organic honey

  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

  • 1/2 cup oats

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I like using BPN’s vegan or whey vanilla!)

  • 1 scoop collagen powder (optional)

  • a handful of ice cubes

Directions

  • Place all ingredients in a blender and blend on a medium to high speed until fully combined and smooth. Serve immediately & enjoy!
