Super Thick Smoothie Bowl

minutesSometimes, you gotta spice up your smoothie game by making it into a bowl! Everything tastes better when eaten with a spoon…in my opinion, ha! But if you are going to enjoy a smoothie in a bowl with a spoon & toppings…it’s gotta be super thick. Thickness is all based upon how much liquid you include, so start small and add as you go! Feel free to use whatever fruit you prefer – frozen fruit blends the best!
Ingredients
handful of ice cubes
1 medium banana, frozen if possible
1/2 cup almond milk or milk of choice
2/3 cup blueberries, frozen if possible
1/2 cup raspberries frozen if possible
1 scoop vanilla whey protein (optional)
- Optional Toppings
chia seeds
sliced banana
sliced strawberries
raspberries
coconut flakes
granola
blueberries
Directions
- Toss everything into a blender and blend until smooth. To not make as thick, slowly add additional milk in TB increments.
- Pour into bowl, and top with desired toppings. Enjoy immediately!
