Almond Butter Collagen Bites

Who knew taking your collagen could be so sweet & delicious?! Now you can use any collagen for this recipe, but I LOVE the BPN collagen because it can truly mix into anything and you won’t even know it’s in there! These almond butter bites are packed with collagen protein, and make the perfect sweet, healthy treat when you are on the go. 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup oats

  • 2 scoops BPN collagen protein

  • 2 TB chia seeds

  • 1/2 cup creamy almond butter (feel free to sub any other nut butter)

  • 2 TB raw honey

  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

  • 2 TB cacao nibs

  • melted chocolate chips for topping (optional)

Directions

  • Mix together dry ingredients: oats, collagen, chia seeds & cacao nibs.
  • Add in wet ingredients: almond butter, honey and vanilla. Mix until fully combined!
  • Once combined, roll batter into small bite-size balls and then arrange on a plate or baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • If you want to drizzle chocolate, melt chocolate chips in the microwave or over stop top and drizzle over the top of the bites. Place in freezer for about 15-20 minutes to harden the chocolate. Enjoy immediately or store in airtight container in the fridge!
