Halloween is just a week away & you know I couldn’t leave you without a spooky, festive recipe! This punch was a family tradition for us growing up. My mom used to throw the biggest, most extravagant halloween party each year at our house – and she would always make this punch! It’s spooky looking, and also delicious. Growing up I didn’t notice, but I’m almost positive the adults slipped a little something extra in their glasses of hocus pocus punch if you get what I’m saying 🙂 haha, so feel free to add a liquor of your choice or enjoy it alcohol free! If you are making this ahead of time, wait until ready to serve to add the sherbet it. You’ll get that really fun foamy effect right away, and if it sits too long it will lose its volume!

Pour over ice or make sure all ingredients are chilled. The sherbet should keep it cold, too!

Ingredients

  • 2 bottle bottle of ginger ale

  • 1 quart lime sherbet

  • 46 oz. can unsweetened pineapple juice

  • 1/4 cup freshly squeeze lime juice

  • 2-3 drops green food coloring

  • gummy worms for garnish

Directions

  • In a punch bowl or large drink dispenser, mix together the ginger ale, pineapple juice, food coloring & fresh lime juice.
  • Add sherbet and stir to mix. This should create a frothy, bubbly effect at the top!
  • Garnish with gummy worms. Feel free to add the liquor of your choice for an adult option! 🙂
