One of the biggest surprises of postpartum – how many different kinds of BRAS you need, haha! Man, I feel like all I’m doing all day is switching bras based on what I’m doing, and whether or not I need easy access for nursing! I’m about 5 weeks in and I’ve tried *so* many bras, and I’ve definitely found my favorites for things like nursing, sleeping, going out & working out. I thought it would be helpful to walk you through my favorites if you are newly postpartum or giving birth anytime soon! All of the details and links are down below!

Modern Eternity Active Maternity Nursing Bra // this is probably the one I wear the most! It feels like a comfy sports bra (has a racerback) and is the perfect balance of comfy but supportive. This is great for everyday wear & also low impact exercise, too! I love that it has the clips for easy-access nursing. The fabric is sooo soft, too!
Momcozy Seamless Nursing Bra // this bra is AMAZING! It’s my go-to when I’m wearing non-active clothes, when the girls need a little lift and support! It’s seamless, has no underwire & is probably the least mom-ish of the bunch! Great for dressing up or everyday wear, and it also has clips for easy-access nursing.
Soma Enbliss Seamless Bralette // this isn’t a nursing bra but it’s very easy to nurse in! I’ve worn these Soma bras for years because of how comfy they are – and they are so stretchy and smooth that it’s super easy to just pull up from the bottom to nurse. I like to wear this when I’m not in the mood for a bra with all of the clips & straps!
Cotton Sleeping Nursing Bra // these are the BEST bras to sleep in while breast-feeding! They aren’t too tight or too loose, are soft & comfy and are super easy to just pull down and nurse from in the middle of the night. They aren’t supportive, which is nice for sleeping!
Hands-Free Pumping Bra // this bra is GAME-CHANGING when it comes to traditional pumps! I use this with my Spectra pump and it holds the pumps in place while giving you the ability to use your hands to do whatever. I’ll wear this & pump while I’m watching TV or getting ready for the day! I love that it zips in the front, too. The straps are removable.
High-Neck Sports Bra // this isn’t a maternity or nursing bra, but I knew that I needed to size up and find a good extra supportive sports bra for working out while breastfeeding. I love this one from Lululemon – it’s seamless, soft & very supportive, which is very needed during postpartum workouts!
